Welder Trainee

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop welding skills and process
• Basic welding in GTAW and GMAW in at least the flat position (1G)
• Blueprint reading
• Use all types of measuring devices
• Adhere to company policies and safety requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

• Requires the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
• Strong collaborative and accommodation tendencies
• Ability to multi-task
• Computer literate, with experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Effective written & verbal communication skills are required

• Qualifications: High School diploma, or equivalent
• To learn the welding processes and progress to a certified welder.
