At Homemate Co. Ltd , Malta's largest home improvement retailer, our warehouse teams play a vital role in ensuring that products reach our stores and customers safely, efficiently, and on time.

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Storekeeper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and being part of a fast-moving operation where every day brings new challenges.

Your Role

As a Storekeeper, you will be an essential part of our warehouse operations, ensuring that stock is handled, stored, and prepared to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include

• Loading and unloading deliveries safely while ensuring products are handled with care.
• Inspecting incoming and outgoing stock and reporting any damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Ensuring correct storage and organisation of products in line with company procedures and safety standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Updating inventory systems with goods received and issued.
• Assisting with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Preparing customer collections and assisting clients collecting their purchases in a professional and courteous manner.
• Working closely with warehouse and store teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Supporting other operational requirements as needed.

We're looking for someone who

• Is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in delivering quality work.
• Works well as part of a team and has a positive, can-do attitude.
• Is organised, efficient, and able to follow procedures.
• Has good attention to detail when handling stock and inventory.
• Is comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving heavier items.
• Is confident working at heights using ladders.
• Has experience operating a forklift (considered an asset).
• Has previous warehouse or storekeeping experience (preferred but not essential).
• Is flexible and available to work rotating shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays .
