🕒 Position: Full-Time

Are you a practical, hands-on person who enjoys fixing, building, and keeping things running smoothly?

At Homemate Co. Ltd , Malta's largest home improvement retailer, we're looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Person to help maintain our stores and ensure they remain safe, functional, and welcoming for both customers and employees.

Your Role

As our Maintenance Person, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our outlets by ensuring our facilities are always in excellent condition.

Your responsibilities will include

• Carrying out general maintenance and repair work across all Homemate outlets.
• Ensuring that store facilities, fixtures, equipment, and fittings remain safe, functional, and well maintained.
• Assembling furniture, displays, shelving, and other shop floor installations.
• Visiting customers' homes, when required, to assemble furniture or carry out minor repairs and after-sales support.
• Identifying maintenance issues before they become major problems and reporting any repairs requiring further attention.
• Assisting with store improvements, installations, and other maintenance-related projects as required.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment at all times.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who

• Is fluent in both Maltese and English .
• Has strong practical and technical skills with a hands-on approach.
• Can work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage their time effectively.
• Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions.
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Holds a valid driving licence.
• Has previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or technical role (considered an asset).
