We are hiring for one of our telecom clients, a leading organisation operating large-scale service provider networks, seeking experienced IP professionals to support advanced routing, switching, and datacom environments.

Job Responsibilities

To understand the OSI reference model and to master the basic principles of TCP/IP protocol.

To master the Ethernet/layer2 switching/VLAN principle/Spanning Tree/Bridge Domain/VXLAN

To master the mainstream WAN link (PPP/POS and so on), the working mode and the application scene.

To master the principle of OSPF/ISIS/BGP, the high-level characteristics and the complex application scene, to master the route import, the route policy principle and application scene.

To understand MPLS L3VPN, VPLS/VLL/CCC L2VPN, MPLS TE/Multicast/QoS very well.

Understand Datacenter technologies, MLAG/EVPN & SRv6 technologies.

The understanding of basic protocol of network management, to master the basic principle of SNMP and the network management operating system and the common database commands.

To understand the basic network security knowledge of the firewall working principle. IPSEC ACLs, firewall policies, and VPN configurations.

To master the basic theory about the high availability (HA) designs, and to understand typical technologies (BFD/GR/FRR/FC) principles.

Equipment characteristic, the essential performance index, the card type and common network of several typical Datacom equipment (Router/Switch/Firewall) /Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/Nokia

Qualifications & Requirements ;

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom or service provider network operations.
• Strong knowledge of P, PE, and RR router architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet, VLANs, WAN links, and routing policies.
• Familiarity with HA, network security, and performance optimisation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
