Key Responsibilities: Position: Community Development Facilitator Location: Snoul ADP, Kratie Province Salary: Negotiation Closing Date: 19-April- 2026 The position is for Local Applicants Only Purpose of positionPOSITION DESCRIPTION: To facilitate and implement the Technical Programmes using the WVIC development programme approach to enhance community participation, ownership and sustainability of projects for the wellbeing of children, families and communities. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES I. Promote Local Ownership & Effective Partnership: Identify and assess the potential partner such as (CBO, Private sector, CSO) and work together to improve the CWB. Facilitate the local partner to develop a shared project for CWB (short/long term as agreed with partners) Support local level partners to identify needs and their underlying causes; and recognizing local assets and resources which could support them in meeting these needs, mobilize these in programme implementation Assess capacity gaps of partner and provide capacity Building, ongoing coaching, mentoring to partner. Work with local partners, implement the joint/ shared plan, and Initiate reflection, learning actions, which contribute to promote community ownership and local partnering. II. Technical Project Implementation Support the area team to make appropriate AP planning that reflect community identified priorities for child well-being in the area. Implement the technical project log-frame within the agreed design and budget. Work with AP Manager & TPO to identify and mitigate risks/issues to ensure quality implementation of technical project models. Lead reflection and learning of technical project models implementation for ongoing feedback and improvement with key project partners and stakeholders. Analyses the MVC and RC as per criteria and include them in TP project model. III. Monitoring & Reporting: Coordinate with TPO to document and share experiences and lessons learnt with the evidences internally and externally. Build capacity of partners in collaboration with technical teams and partners are able to effectively collect monitoring data. Organize and archive the data according to the monitoring standards. Responsible for monitoring the MVC and RC within their TP activity and share data with PC CESP. Suggest recommendations using evidence and develop action plan to improve programming. Develop and update annual, semi-annual and monthly budget and detail implementation plan. IV. External Representation (Government and external agencies) Work with AP manager on Representing WVI-C at District/Commune department offices, promote collaborative relationship for successful implementation of development programmes. Initiate and advocate with commune and district level for integration of project activities into local government plan (CIP/ DIP). V. Teamwork and Integration Undergo technical training programmes and meet the post training requirements. Engage in own personal learning and development, openness for spiritual learning and contribute to the development of colleagues. Contribute to ongoing reflection and learning within the team to improve programme performance. Uphold WVIC, vision mission, identity, and core value, while working in WVIC operations area. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree – education, social development studies and related field of study (Secondary Nurse, Midwifery, Medical Assistant). 2 years’ experience in the technical area of Public Health, Nutrition, WASH, Maternal and Child health. At least 2 years of experience working with education programming (e.g. literacy, early childhood education, teacher training, etc.). At least 2 years of experience working with Children Adolescent and Youth programmes, including programme design, implementation and monitoring; staff Experience building and maintaining relationships with local government and NGO partners and stakeholders Experience in handling training and workshops for groups and communities (including coaching and mentoring). Experience in mobilizing resources and people to be ownership on children development.
