About the Role

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting enterprise planning, executive reporting and financial performance across a large, globally connected organisation.

Working alongside Finance leaders and senior stakeholders, you'll influence strategic decision-making through high-quality analysis, forecasting and performance reporting that helps drive better outcomes for the University.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Performance, you'll contribute to the development and delivery of RMIT's financial strategy by providing commercial insights, enterprise planning and performance analysis that support long-term organisational success.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work across the University to

• Support the development of long-term financial plans aligned to RMIT's strategic priorities.
• Deliver enterprise budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and insights that support executive decision-making.
• Monitor organisational performance, identifying emerging risks, opportunities and trends.
• Develop executive reports, dashboards and financial models that communicate complex information clearly.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners and senior leaders to improve financial performance and strategic outcomes

You'll have the opportunity to influence how financial performance is measured and reported across one of Australia's largest universities while supporting strategic initiatives that have a genuine organisational impact.

You're an experienced FP&A or commercial finance professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial curiosity and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.

You'll bring

• Significant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, management accounting or commercial finance within a large and complex organisation.
• Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports and presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial information into clear commercial recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
