About The Role
DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
- Definition of learning needs
- Pedagogical design, coordination and periodical review of the learning offer, in close cooperation with services quoted above; this may involve own expertise of the external service provider or call for work with IT training contractors, when available;
- Management of courses, including course content management, participant management and evaluations in EuLearn;
- Interaction with participants and especially communication to EC staff of data training offer, for example contributions to the Learning Bulletin and any other targeted means of communication.
- Preparation of inputs for potential contractual agreements with concerned external training providers. EC staff shall manage formally these relations, the external expert shall prepare the necessary inputs;
- Overview of the budget foreseen for data training. EC staff shall manage the formal side of the budget, the external expert shall prepare the necessary inputs;
- Regular reporting on progress to the Head of Sector and reporting on technical issues to the learning technologies team in the Unit;
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Good knowledge of IMC learning suite
- Ability to apply high quality standards
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in the field of data
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Analysis and problem solving skills
- Capability to write clear and structured documents
- Ability to participate in technical meetings concerning IMC Learning Suite
- Stakeholder management skills in complex environments
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
- at least 1 year of experience using IMC Learning Suite
- at least 2 years of experience in data wrangling
- at least 6 month experience in data visualisation
