Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a construction environment, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling as required.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any defects or maintenance needs.
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures on site.
• Work closely with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience operating excavators.
• Proven experience working in a construction environment.
• Valid certification/license to operate heavy equipment (where applicable)
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.
