School-Based Health Center Social Worker - LCSW/LMSW/LMHC or LMFT (10 Month/Summers Off )

The School-Based Health Social Worker provides Behavioral Health Services to patients within the School-Based Health Department managed by NCFHC. The Social Worker is involved in the evaluation and treatment of patients with behavioral health diagnoses and provides input and support for other clinical staff involved in the care of the patients. School-based position that follows the school faculty calendar with paid school vacations, holidays, and snow days during the 10-month school year. The position will require travel to school-based locations.

Qualifications

The Social Worker will have a minimum degree of New York State

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or
• Licensed Master Health Counselor (LMHC), or
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

This position requires excellent verbal, listening, and documentation skills. Complete and accurate record keeping is essential for quality of care, treatment planning, and billing of behavioral health services.
