Part-Time Records Clerk and Job Coach

Help individuals with disabilities build office and clerical skills. You will guide and train program participants as they work on document scanning, data entry, and filing projects in BCRC's digital records department.

Schedule: Part-time, Daylight hours, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 3 days a week - Monday, Tuesday, and one additional flexible weekday

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and Coach: Teach participants (adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism or behavioral health diagnosis) how to sort, scan, copy, and file office documents.
  • Quality Control and Progress Notes: Check the participants' work to ensure it accurately meets business standards, uses positive motivation, and writes daily progress notes according to goals in individual support plan (ISP).
  • Data Entry Support: Assist participants in reading records and typing key details into computer databases.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum requirement is a high school diploma (or GED)
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills (experience with Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in job coaching or office/clerical work is preferred but not required
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
