About The Role
The Inside Sales role ensures that all customer needs are promptly addressed in a courteous and professional manner. Will assist staff with all aspects of the sales and execution process. Acts as a liaison between customer and Outside Sales team operations team to provide a high level of customer service. The Inside Sales role is critical to ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process, contributing to customer satisfaction and overall business success.
Essential Functions
- Manage customer orders by assisting Outside Sales team with quotations, order placement, product fulfillment, scheduling, and support after the sale
- Manage order entry in ERP
- Collaborate with operations team to secure needed product
- Manage customer portals and communicate scheduling changes with appropriate team members
- Communicate any credit issues discovered upon order entry to appropriate sales personnel
- Answer incoming calls or emails; timely & professionally
- Perform other duties as required
Competencies/Skills/Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong organizational skills and effective team player
- Ability to be detail-oriented and multi-task, work within specified timeframes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Previous Customer Service work experience is required; previous work experience in our industry is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel and Word
