Laborer (Landfill)

Amwaste of Georgia is currently looking for a laborer to work at our landfill in Lagrange, GA. This individual needs to be self-motivated and be able to work without a lot of supervision. He needs to be energetic and someone who looks to make the environment as clean as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Manually picks up windblown paper from periphery of landfill.
• May direct the flow of trucks at times. Communicates with the drivers verbally or by hand signals.
• May do certain necessary jobs that come up and assigned by the Landfill Supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory duties.
