We're excited to open up a 6-month secondment opportunity within the Store Design Team!

If you're a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating inspiring spaces, this could be a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in the interior design space!

Working alongside the Store Design team, you'll gain exposure to the end-to-end process of bringing our stores to life, from concept development through to execution. You'll collaborate with a variety of teams, contribute to design projects, and help create spaces that reflect the Blank Street brand while delivering an exceptional experience for both customers and team members.

What You’ll Own

You'll be embedded in our Store Design team, helping bring new Blank Street locations to life from concept to opening. Some of the projects you'll jump into include:

Project Drawings & Documentation

• Support the team in preparing and organising project drawings and design documentation
• Help keep files and records up to date as projects evolve

Research & Concepting

• Assist with research into project context, local market, and design references
• Help build out concept presentations and mood boards that shape the direction of new stores

Materials & Finishes

• Source and organise material samples, finishes, and swatches
• Maintain a well-organised sample library so the team can move fast

Furniture & Fixtures

• Support furniture selection and sourcing across new store projects
• Liaise with suppliers and track lead times to keep projects on schedule

Day-to-Day

• Keep the team running like clockwork, including ensuring orders are correctly tracked
• Be the reliable backbone that keeps multiple store projects moving at once
