Description: Inventory Control Specialist

• Hours: 1st shift - 7:00 AM -3:30 PM - M-F On Site
• Pay Rate - $23.00 - $30.00 Depending on experience
• Building - KPSM
• In person interviews will be expected and we do not pay for relocation or any travel expenses.

ROLE

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the inventory accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials and WIP.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to identify and correct variances.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through timely transaction review and reconciliation.
• Support annual physical inventory activities and audit preparation.
• Monitor inventory locations and ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored.
• Issue raw materials to production jobs in accordance with work orders and production schedules.
• Review and validate inventory transactions for accuracy, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
• Support kitting activities by ensuring required materials are available and staged for shipping.
• Develop and recommend process enhancements to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality departments to support operational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Office Suite, Facilities management software. Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Excel (Required)
• Manufacturing 2 years (Required)
• Lean Manufacturing/Warehouse environment
• ERP system experience Jobboss2 experience a plus
• Raw Materials
• Verbal and written communication skills/Interpersonal relationships
• Attention to detail.
• 2-5 years inventory management
