About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Automation Lead / Architect to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QA automation engineers, designing and implementing robust automation frameworks, and ensuring the quality of our networking products. You will collaborate closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with a deep understanding of networking concepts and technologies. You will also be a hands-on leader, capable of contributing to the automation effort while providing guidance and direction to the team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA automation engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using Python and PyATS.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation code.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test plans and test cases.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and test coverage.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in QA automation.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to automation.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

4-16 years of experience in QA automation and manual testing.

Strong proficiency in Python scripting (L1, L2).

Extensive experience with automation testing frameworks, particularly PyATS.

Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.

Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.

Proficiency in using Jenkins for CI/CD.

Familiarity with design patterns.

Experience with Git version control.

Hands-on experience with Wireshark for network analysis.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
