About The Role

What you’ll do: Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, the successful candidate will

  • Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines representing the Values and Brand.
  • Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines on Dress Code, Personal Hygiene and Customer Service.
  • Ensure high level of customer service is provided at all times;
  • Be professional, friendly and courteous in the work environment;
  • Ensure adherence to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and housekeeping standards;
  • Adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op Policies & Procedures and the asset protection program;
  • Adhere to Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) operating guidelines;
  • Participate in all OH&S requirements, and be knowledgeable about the compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation;
  • Bag purchases for customers at the till or for delivery;
  • Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their source;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and

  • Strong work ethic and a positive team player attitude.
  • Applicants must be at least 19 years of age; You have previous retail experience;
  • Experience with wine, spirits and beer in a retail setting is not compulsory but is an asset;
  • Applicants must be willing to take SIRS Certification. It will be paid for by the Co-op;
  • Applicants must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. You must be flexible;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted;
  • Criminal records check may be conducted.
