Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Prepare and review department-level P&Ls, company-wide P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements, and Sales Channel reports.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary to support the executive financial package and guide strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with annual audits and support preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Monitor and report on bank covenants related to real estate loans on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure accuracy of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes across multiple departments.
- Partner with leadership to improve operational efficiency and scalability of financial systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience at the Senior Accountant level.
- Strong operational accounting background with exposure to multi-departmental environments.
- Experience with wholesale/retail product-based businesses and inventory accounting strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and variance reports.
- Familiarity with audit processes and bank reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and present financial insights to executives.
- Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific time
- Work Setup: Work from home
- Please note that the role follows US Holidays.
