About This Opportunity

Join a collaborative and purpose-driven research environment within POHUQ, contributing to impactful work that improves oral health outcomes for people with intellectual disability and informs national policy through initiatives such as the MRFF Oral Health projects and National Fluoride Workshop. Working alongside inquisitive academic leaders and dedicated professional staff, you will play a key role in supporting high-impact population-based research that delivers real-world benefits to communities.

Key responsibilities will include

• Coordinating research activities, including fieldwork for MRFF Oral Health projects
• Applying technical research skills, including survey development and administration using Qualtrics
• Supporting research documentation, including ethics submissions and funding applications
• Assisting with data analysis, reporting, and preparation of research outputs such as graphs, figures and presentations

This is a full-time (100% FTE), fixed-term position for up to 6 months at HEW Level 5.

About You

• Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent experience in a research environment
• Demonstrated experience working on population-based research projects
• Proven ability to establish effective relationships and represent research within university and external contexts
• Strong practical research skills with experience in relevant methodologies and techniques
• Experience using Qualtrics and conducting systematic searches of scientific literature
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
