Job Description

  • Oversee the post trade processing for securities, fixed income products, listed and OTC derivatives, and other structured products across local and overseas markets, including daily reconciliation of trades and positions.
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues related to trade settlements and position management in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with traders, counterparties, and brokers to ensure timely and accurate trade execution and confirmation.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to derivatives operations.
  • Support risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating operational risks and implementing best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to derivatives trading and operations.
  • Generate and review reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in derivatives operations.
  • Ongoing maintenance of the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Work with IT and other departments to implement system enhancements and automation solutions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding derivatives operations.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of settlement experience in securities brokerage industry or banking
  • Hands on experience in CCASS, Clearstream and Euroclear
  • Knowledge of securities, fixed Incomes Listed and OTC derivatives and Structure Products settlement
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
  • Proficiency with MS Suite, specifically Excel.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • The successful candidate(s) might be required to work on Public Holidays
