The Role
We are looking for an experienced HR consulting professional to join co:grow full-time as Head of Delivery. This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for leading the delivery of our people consulting engagements - ensuring quality, consistency, and impact across the client portfolio.
This role is not for HR professionals with a purely in-house background looking to transition into consulting. We need someone who already operates in the consulting world and knows what it takes to manage multiple client relationships, deliver across varied contexts, and represent a practice's brand and standards under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of fractional HR consulting engagements across the co:grow client portfolio
- Serve as senior practitioner on complex work including people strategy, organisational design, talent frameworks, and HR infrastructure
- Maintain delivery quality and consistency across all engagements, applying co:grow's methodology
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, with the credibility to influence at executive level
Practice Operations
- Partner with the Founder on capacity planning, workload allocation, and resourcing across the portfolio
- Contribute to the development of co:grow's consulting frameworks, tools, and IP
- Support onboarding and briefing of associate consultants and delivery partners
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and grow engagement scope where appropriate
Quality & Standards
- Ensure all deliverables meet co:grow's quality bar before they reach clients
- Champion a bias-reduced, evidence-informed approach across all people consulting work
- Provide peer review and quality assurance on work produced by associates and partners
What We Are Looking For
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Demonstrable background in HR consulting - advisory firm, boutique practice, or similar; not solely in-house
- A strong portfolio of consulting work you can speak to: client challenges, your approach, and measurable outcomes
- Experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships with competing priorities
- Breadth across core HR domains: people strategy, talent management, OD, culture, and HR operations
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of HR experience with a significant portion in client-facing consulting or advisory roles
- Proven ability to work at pace across diverse industries and organisational contexts
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate complex people challenges into clear, actionable solutions
- Commercially astute - you understand how people strategy connects to business performance
