We are currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Hospital Cleaner to join our team at SingAsia Hospital, a leading medical facility in the region. As a Hospital Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital to provide a safe and healing environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, nursing stations, operating rooms, restrooms, and other areas in the hospital according to established standards and procedures

Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, carpets, and upholstery

Collect and dispose of garbage and clinical waste in a safe and timely manner

Sanitize and restock supplies in patient rooms and common areas

Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in designated storage areas and utility rooms

Assist with the setup and breakdown of hospital equipment as needed

Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and hygienic environment at all times

Report any maintenance or facility issues to the supervisor

Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure their needs are met promptly

Attend training sessions and workshops as required to enhance job performance

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting

Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals

Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

Good understanding of infection control practices and protocols

Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Knowledge of basic computer skills and the ability to use a tablet for work-related tasks.
