Deli Assistant - Part Time

We are seeking a dedicated Deli Assistant to join our team at SPAR Prosperous. This permanent part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and providing excellent customer service.

As a Deli Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving a variety of deli products, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the deli department.

• Prepare and serve a range of deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
• Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide information on product offerings
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli counter, equipment, and storage areas
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, and participate in stock rotation and ordering processes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the deli department
