About the Senior Accounting Analyst – US GAAP

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst with strong US GAAP experience to join our international finance team in Mexico City. In this role, you will work closely with the US finance leadership team based in Dallas and play a key part in financial reporting, reconciliations, audit support, and month-end close activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.

What you'll do...

Record and review journal entries and accrals

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and complex account analysis

Support month-end close processes and ensure timely reporting deadlines

Assist with US sales tax filings and compliance

Support 1099 reporting and vendor compliance processes

Assist with internal and external audits

Collaborate closely with the Dallas Controller and US finance team

What you have...

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPC certification preferred)

4–6+ years of experience in US IFRS accounting within a multinational company reporting to a US parent company (must-have)

Strong experience with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close processes

Minimum 4 years of experience handling complex reconciliations and account analysis

At least 2 years of experience preparing US sales tax returns and supporting compliance filings

Experience supporting 1099 reporting and vendor compliance

Proven experience supporting internal and external audits

Experience working with US-based finance teams and strict reporting deadlines (must-have)

Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)

Experience with ERP systems such as Workday or Zuora

Advanced Excel skills

Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
