As a Senior Specialist – Software Engineer, you would be working as part of the Interfaces Engineering team, building Integrations between Calypso and third-party platforms leveraging the connectivity, transformation and providing highly performant system. We are looking for candidates with a genuine desire and drive to deliver top technology solutions to today's markets With this position we offer Join the Fintech Capital Markets organization, spread across the globe handling the technology behind the Calypso product. Role Responsibilities - As a Senior Specialist, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai, you will have an opportunity to also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries. We review system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs; implements and/or maintains software solutions for more complex assignments. Determines systems software develop requirements. Builds, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short– and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. We develop security solutions for complex assignments. Provides application software development services or technical support typically for more complicated assignments. An opportunity to develops program logic for new applications or analyses and modifies logic in existing applications. Modifies existing internal software products to add to new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability. We expect you to have Proven experience of 8 to 10 years with excellent object-oriented analysis, build and development skills, including test driven development (TDD). Experience working with different transport protocols such as JMS, RMI, SOAP, or REST Experience with Data mapping and transformation and Industry standard formats such as FPML, FIX, CDM will be a plus. Experience in developing Spring Boot, Java, Microservices application Proven understanding of relational databases, including RDBMS setup (Oracle / PostgreSQL). Development experience on a multi-threaded, client-server application, Development Experience with Java persistence or ORM implementations, including SQL, JDBC, ORM solutions such as JAVA Persistence API, Hibernate Degree qualified in a subject area related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Would typically have, or be studying, a second degree or equivalent experience in a more niche area, such as financial markets, finance, or mathematics related. It would be great if you Experience with software development tools such as Eclipse, Intellij, Git. Unix and scripting experience highly desirable. Experience in Angular frontend development will be a plus. Experience with build and Continuous integration tools like Jenkins with nexus / Gradle will be a plus.
