Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week
Salary: €36,605 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing and processing operations in our busy fruit and vegetable production facility.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily running of the production line, including potato processing, fresh vegetable preparation, packing and prepared produce operations
Plan production schedules, oversee manufacturing processes and maintain high standards of product quality and presentation
Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP and BRCGS standards)
Control stock, costs, waste and overall profitability of the production operation
Lead, train and motivate the production team
Deliver efficient, high-quality output to support our retail, catering and wholesale customers

Person Specification

Previous experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager role (ideally within food processing or fresh produce)
Strong knowledge of food safety standards (Level 2/3 Food Hygiene essential; experience with HACCP/BRCGS preferred)
Good leadership and team management skills
Commercial awareness and the ability to drive efficiency and productivity
Flexible with availability, including weekends
