About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing organization, ensuring the reliability, safety, and continuous improvement of our production equipment. This is a practical engineering role where you'll combine electrical expertise with automation knowledge to support day-to-day operations while contributing to larger machine upgrade and modernization projects.
Working alongside experienced electricians, technicians, and external automation specialists, you'll help maintain and develop the electrical and control systems that support our manufacturing processes. Your work will directly contribute to improved equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and workplace safety.

- Support electricians in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and automation issues on production machinery and equipment
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis to improve machine reliability
- Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs for production equipment
- Identify suitable replacement components for obsolete electrical and automation equipment
- Participate in machine modification, upgrade, and retrofit projects in collaboration with external automation partners
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation performance, reliability, and machine safety
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, electrical drawings, and engineering records
- Ensure electrical systems comply with applicable safety standards and internal engineering practices
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and external suppliers to deliver effective technical solutions
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Technology, or another relevant technical discipline
- Experience working with industrial electrical systems and machine automation
- Practical experience supporting production equipment or industrial machinery
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Fluency in English, Danish is preffered
Technical Skills
- Siemens Step 7 Manager
- Siemens TIA Portal
- WinCC and WinCC Flexible
- Siemens AC and DC drive systems
- Strong understanding of PLC-controlled machinery and industrial automation
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems and automation components
- Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, including DS/EN 60204-1 and DS/HD 60364

Preferred Qualifications
- Practical background as an electrician
- Experience with EPLAN
- Experience using the PM5 maintenance management system
- Experience participating in machine upgrades or automation modernization projects
- Experience working with machine safety improvements
