OFFSHORE OPERATIONS SUPPORT COORDINATOR

About The Role

  • Ensure that all materials required for offshore projects are transported, cleared, and delivered in compliance with each country, based on government customs regulations, NMDC Energy procedures, and project requirements
  • Prepare, review, and submit all customs-related documentation required for import, export, and re-export of offshore materials in KSA and other countries
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, HS code classifications, SASO/SABER & COOs documentation (where applicable), and temporary import/re-export documents
  • Maintain proper document control and records in line with UAE and all other countries’ customs requirements
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with Saudi Customs laws, ZATCA and all other countries regulations, and port authority requirements
  • Monitor changes in each country-based customs regulations and communicate impacts to project & logistics teams
  • Coordinate inspections and resolve customs queries, holds, or discrepancies efficiently
  • Act as the focal point between NMDC Energy, customs brokers, freight forwarders, port authorities, and government agencies in different countries
  • Follow up on customs clearance status and ensure prompt release of shipments
  • Temporary Import & Re-Export Control, track temporary imported materials and ensure compliance with re-export timelines
  • Prepare and process re-export documentation for offshore equipment, tools, and project materials
  • Prevent customs penalties by ensuring timely closure of temporary import files
  • Maintain accurate logistics and customs records for audits and project reviews
  • Prepare regular status reports on shipments, customs clearance, and documentation issues
  • Identify potential customs or documentation risks and propose corrective actions
  • Resolve discrepancies related to HS codes, valuation, or documentation errors
  • Support claims avoidance by ensuring compliance and proper documentation
  • Ensure proper handover and archiving of documents at project close-out

Proficient in classifying products using the Harmonized System (HS) Code to ensure accurate customs declaration and compliance with international trade regulations

  • Diploma in a related field, or equivalent

OR

  • Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific Technical Qualification, or equivalent
  • Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in a similar role and industry

OR

Minimum 06 years of relevant experience in similar roles and industries

Technical Competencies

  • Must be familiar with Offshore Operations logistics Procedures especially KSA and other international countries rules and regulations (like SABER, SASO, COOs requirements etc.)
  • Report to Offshore Ops Leads or Director for all logistics related issues and updates on the international level.
  • Work within a well-structured environment with clear reporting lines and defined accountabilities
  • Guided by Company policies & procedures, Integrity Policy & Code of Conduct and HSE standards Computer skills
