Position Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead provides analytical support to the company’s finance department in making sound financial decisions.

Responsibilities

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expendituresMonitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected varianceGenerate project budget reports and lead review meetingsOversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Modeling tools.

Ad-Hoc Reporting and AnalysisQuarterly and Monthly Financial reportsImplement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reportsImprove performance by evaluating processes to drive efficienciesDevelop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiativesAnalyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposesSupporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysisPrepare presentations to Senior Management TeamAssist Finance team with month end close procedures.

Qualifications and Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance5-8 years’ experience in FP&AWork effectively under deadlinesStrong leadership skills required. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint SkillsThink creatively, highly driven, and self-motivatedHighest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organizedExperience working with SQL and ERP Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, IFS)Fluent in speaking and reading EnglishEffectively communicate with both internal and external customersExperience with consolidation softwareStrong written and verbal communication skills required
