React Front-End Developer (12-Month Contract - Work From Home)

We’re looking for a React Front-End Developer to build scalable, high-performance web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused solutions for a childcare management platform.

Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable front‑end applications using React.

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business and user requirements into technical solutions.

Build reusable components and front‑end libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across the application.

Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility.

Integrate front‑end components with RESTful APIs and backend services.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

Work on features and enhancements related to childcare management systems, such as enrollment, attendance tracking, billing, parent communication, or compliance workflows.

Requirements

• 5 years of professional front‑end development experience, with hands‑on exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong, proven experience with React (non‑negotiable), including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
• Solid proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Prior experience working with or developing childcare management systems, education platforms, or similar domain‑specific applications.
• Familiarity with UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards.
