Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

The Quantity Surveyor (MEP) is responsible for managing all cost and contractual aspects related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works in construction projects. The role involves cost estimation, quantity take-offs, contract administration, and ensuring that MEP works are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage MEP Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Possess strong knowledge of MEP materials, installation methods, and relevant standards.
  • Manage subcontractor measurements, certification, and payment control.
  • Coordinate with MEP engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in the construction industry, with a focus on MEP works.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and related construction practices.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing drawings and quantity take-offs.
  • Experience in QS software such as CostX or PlanSwift is an added advantage.
