About The Role
Key Account Manager, Sandvik Rock Processing, NW USA (NV/UT/MT)
Are you passionate about building strong customer partnerships and delivering value that drives long-term success? Sandvik Rock Processing is seeking a Key Account Manager to support and grow relationships with our most strategic customers across parts of Western USA .
This is a high-impact role focused on strengthening key accounts, delivering exceptional service, and identifying new opportunities to expand our business within the mining industry.
What You’ll Do
As a Key Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for major customers, ensuring a seamless and value-driven experience. You will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts across the region
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with overall company sales objectives
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Lead contract negotiations in alignment with Sandvik’s commercial strategy
- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within existing accounts
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, service, product) to deliver a consistent and cohesive customer experience
- Monitor customer activity, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategy
- Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations and recommending tailored solutions
- Promote new products, services, and technologies that align with customer needs
What You Bring
We’re looking for a relationship-driven professional with strong commercial and technical awareness
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles within mining, aggregates, or heavy industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of crushing, screening, or mineral processing solutions is an asset
- Demonstrated success managing large or strategic customer accounts
- Experience negotiating contracts and driving profitable growth
- Ability to understand customer operations and translate needs into value-driven solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in mining, aggregates, or heavy equipment sales/account management
- Proven experience managing key accounts and delivering against sales targets ($5-20MM range)
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to understand customer operations and identify opportunities
Preferred
- Experience with crushing, screening, or mineral processing equipment
- Background in Western USA mining market
- Strong commercial acumen (selling value vs. price)
- Ability to develop account strategy and identify growth within existing customers
