About The Role

As a Credit Officer, you will play a vital role in our company's financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage credit-related activities, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. You will work closely with our back-office team, providing support and guidance to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Your customer-centric approach will be key in maintaining positive relationships and delivering an exceptional experience.

  • Manage and oversee credit operations, including loan processing and approval.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulations, and internal guidelines.
  • Review and analyze credit applications, financial statements, and other relevant documents.
  • Conduct credit risk assessments and make informed decisions on loan approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit-related activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the back-office team to streamline credit processes and improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the credit sector.
  • Report and escalate any potential credit risks or issues to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a credit-related role, preferably in the BFSI industry.
  • Strong knowledge of credit policies, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess credit risk.
  • Proficiency in using credit analysis tools and software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in credit-related documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
