The Role

We’re hiring a Director of Enterprise Sales to own and grow Mecka’s most strategic relationships with top-tier AI labs and robotics organizations.

This is a relationship-driven role. The primary value we’re looking for is existing, trusted relationships with teams that purchase or influence large-scale AI and robotics data programs.

You’ll work closely with leadership, operations, and engineering to turn complex technical needs into long-term enterprise partnerships.

What You’ll Own

Enterprise Relationships & Revenue

Own and expand relationships with

  • AI research labs
  • Foundation model teams
  • Robotics and humanoid robotics organizations
  • Manage and grow strategic enterprise accounts
  • Open new opportunities through existing relationships and warm introductions
  • Structure pilots, long-term data programs, and multi-phase enterprise engagements

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Serve as the senior commercial point of contact for enterprise customers
  • Understand customer technical objectives and translate them into scoped data programs
  • Coordinate internally to ensure delivery quality and customer satisfaction
  • Drive renewals, expansions, and long-term partnerships

Technical & Commercial Alignment

Partner closely with operations and engineering to align on

  • Data requirements
  • Quality standards
  • Capture modalities and scale
  • Speak credibly with technical stakeholders (researchers, PMs, robotics leads)
  • Help shape Mecka’s enterprise offering based on customer feedback

Who You Are

This role is not for a generalist enterprise seller. We are explicitly looking for someone with deep domain exposure and real relationships in AI and robotics.

Required Background

  • 8+ years in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic account roles
  • Experience selling into AI labs, robotics companies, or large technology platforms

Existing relationships with buyers, decision-makers, or technical influencers in

  • AI research
  • Foundation models
  • Robotics or embodied AI
  • Proven track record closing and expanding complex, high-value enterprise deals

Strong Signals

Prior experience in business development, commercial, or account leadership roles within

  • Robotics companies
  • AI infrastructure or data providers

Strong technical fluency around

  • Robotics data requirements
  • Real-world vs synthetic data
  • Data quality, scale, and iteration cycles
  • Comfortable selling consultative, evolving solutions rather than fixed products

You Are

  • Relationship-first and trust-driven
  • Technically credible with advanced customers
  • Comfortable operating without rigid quotas or heavy process
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and early-stage growth
  • Clear, confident communicator with executives and technical leaders
