Drafter

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Create and maintain product documentation including 3D models, 3D assemblies, layouts, detail drawings, engineering masters and part numbers;
• Create customer drawings per customer spec and design output;
• Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance in design;
• Develop and obtain test parts and assemblies for prototype testing;
• Originating and/or investigating Engineering Change Request;
• Conduct design calculation and tolerance studies using manual or computer-aided tools;
• Creation and maintenance of drafting practices or standards that describe best practices;

Who You Are

A motivated self-starter with an understanding of engineering fundamentals and their application. Knowledge of GD&T. Experience with CAD tools. Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and other industry codes and standards. MS office, written and spoken English

For This Role, You Will Need

• College or BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; mechanical design and manufacturing process including casting, forging, machining and welding etc.
