About The Role

INVESTMENT ANALYST JOB SUMMARY: The Investment Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality investment research, market intelligence, and actionable recommendations to support portfolio management, trading, and investment decision-making across local and global markets. The role conducts in-depth macroeconomic, industry, sector, company, and credit analysis to identify investment opportunities and emerging risks, helping drive portfolio performance and support the growth of assets under management (AUM). The Investment Analyst partners closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Investment Strategists, Investment Advisers, and Product Teams by providing research insights, market outlooks, and investment recommendations. The role also supports governance, client communication, and regulatory requirements through the preparation of investment committee materials, market presentations, disclosure documents, and regulatory reports, ensuring investment solutions remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with prevailing market conditions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce timely, accurate, and high-quality research on macroeconomic trends, financial markets, industries, sectors, companies, and credit opportunities, and provide actionable investment recommendations to support portfolio management and trading decisions. Develop and communicate investment views, market outlooks, and research findings through reports, presentations, client briefings, and investment committee discussions to support internal stakeholders and clients. Conduct industry, competitive, and product analyses, perform due diligence on investment opportunities and client transactions, and provide research support to ensure investment solutions remain relevant, compliant, and aligned with client needs. Prepare and maintain governance, client, and regulatory deliverables, including Investment Committee, Executive Committee, and Board meeting materials, meeting minutes, KIIDS, investment disclosures, and other required documentation. Monitor market developments and emerging risks, contribute to portfolio positioning and asset allocation discussions, drive continuous process improvements, and perform other duties assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. CPA, CFA, MBA, Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Investments, or other relevant professional certifications and postgraduate qualifications are preferred. Relevant experience in Financial Services, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Banking, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Fixed Income Research, Corporate Finance, or Investment Management. Experience in financial analysis, investment research, portfolio management support, or capital markets is preferred. Exposure to equities, fixed income, multi-asset investing, and investment products is an advantage.
