Junior Analyst Report To: Manager / Senior Manager Department: Financial Services (Corporate & Investment Banking) Location: Gurugram, India Nature of Job : Permanent Job Summary Evalueserve is seeking a Junior Analyst for its Corporate & Investment Banking team. The role supports bankers across core analytical and research workflows, including company and industry research, valuation and transaction analysis, pitch book preparation, financial statement analysis, screening, database maintenance, and credit appraisal support. Key Responsibilities Group Activities Investment Banking Research • Work on comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, company/M&A screening and newsletter preparation • Prepare pitch books, industry overview, detailed company profiles, management biographies, brokers’ outlook, share price performance, evolution of industry/peer valuation multiples, possible buyer/seller opportunities Financial Analysis & Credit Support • Analyzing and spreading the financial statements in customized web-based application, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement of public and private companies, for credit appraisal process • Understanding financial ratios and analyzing trends, covenant monitoring – ensuring financial covenants and portfolio monitoring instructions are met in line with the loan agreement • Prepare credit papers based on a careful analysis of various external and internal factors including Business Overview, Financial Analysis, Industry Overview Content & Database Management • Be responsible for maintaining efficiency, working independently on projects, delivering error-free projects, and creating and maintaining / updating databases on a timely basis
