Job Description – Senior Human Resource Executive (Payroll & Statutory Compliance) Group Company: ITC Rajputana Designation: Senior Human Resource Executive – Payroll & Statutory Compliance Office Location: As Applicable Position Description The Senior Human Resource Executive – Payroll & Statutory Compliance is responsible for managing payroll administration, employee benefits, statutory compliances, labour law adherence, HR operations, and employee data management. The role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all applicable labour laws, social security requirements, and organizational policies. The incumbent works closely with Finance, HR, departmental stakeholders, and external authorities to ensure seamless execution of payroll and statutory processes. Primary Responsibilities Manage monthly payroll inputs, validation, processing, and reconciliation. Administer attendance, leave, overtime, and employee data for payroll purposes. Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, LWF, PT, and other statutory requirements. Coordinate statutory filings, returns, inspections, audits, and documentation. Verify employee records, salary structures, full and final settlements, and benefits administration. Maintain HR compliance records and statutory registers. Handle employee queries related to payroll, taxation, deductions, and benefits. Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies. Additional Responsibilities Support annual budgeting, manpower costing, and payroll analytics. Assist during labour inspections and statutory audits. Prepare HR MIS, compliance dashboards, and management reports. Participate in HR digitization, process improvement, and policy implementation initiatives. Zero statutory non-compliance. Timely submission of statutory returns. Audit compliance scores. Employee query resolution turnaround time. Accuracy of HR records and MIS reporting. Required Skills Payroll administration and reconciliation. HRMIS reporting and analytics. Advanced MS Excel and data management. Statutory documentation and record keeping. Effective communication and coordination. Required Abilities Physical: Ability to work on computer systems for extended periods and manage documentation-related activities. Other: Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with the capability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Work Environment Details Office-based HR environment involving extensive coordination with employees, departmental heads, Finance, auditors, labour authorities, and statutory agencies. Periodic support may be required during audits, payroll closures, and compliance reviews. Specific Requirements Travel: Occasional travel for audits, inspections, and statutory liaison activities. Vehicle: Preferred but not mandatory. Work Permit: As per applicable laws and company requirements. Other Details Pay Rate: As per Company Compensation Policy. Contract Types: Fixed-Term Contract. Time Constraints: Regular business hours with extended support during payroll processing cycles, audits, statutory filings, and month-end activities. Compliance Related: Mandatory adherence to statutory regulations, labour laws, payroll policies, data privacy norms, and company governance standards. Union Affiliation: Coordination with employee representatives and unions, wherever applicable, for payroll and statutory matters.
