Manual Machinist III

• The Machinist III produces precision parts using machine tools and equipment. This involves measuring workpieces, installing machine parts, and performing quality inspections.
• This is a 2nd Shift position and includes a 10% sift differential in addition to the hourly salary.

• Estimate dimensions of workpieces, products, or equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements
• Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations
• Program more complex parts to be machined
• Measure and outline the parts to be machined using various devices and tools in order to obtain accurate dimensions
• Assist with design of basic manufacturing fixtures

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.
