About The Role

Lead and coordinate the Telecom engineering scope for the Absheron Onshore Package, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, schedule, quality and HSE requirements.
Manage and technically supervise EPSCC Contractors and vendors , including review and approval of Telecom engineering deliverables.
Coordinate Telecom interfaces with ICSS, Instrumentation, Electrical, Process, Mechanical, Civil and other disciplines .
Monitor engineering progress, technical decisions, risks, deviations, derogations and scope changes, ensuring timely corrective and mitigation actions.
Lead or participate in design reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, CHAZOP, constructability reviews and technical workshops .
Promote fit-for-purpose, cost-effective and standardized Telecom solutions , including value engineering and lessons learned.
Provide technical support during construction, installation, commissioning and Site activities , including resolution of technical queries and non-conformities.
Support the Onshore Package Instrumentation & ICSS Lead with engineering reporting, risk management, change management and project decision-making .
Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline , with substantial experience in Telecom engineering.
Significant experience in oil & gas, energy or industrial projects , preferably within EPC/EPSCC environments.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial Telecom systems and their interfaces with ICSS .
Proven experience in Contractor/vendor management, engineering document review and multidisciplinary interface management .
Good knowledge of relevant international standards, project specifications, engineering practices and HSE requirements .
Experience with HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, CHAZOP, constructability and other engineering studies is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural international teams .
Willingness and flexibility to work in Chengdu, China during Detailed Engineering, followed by Baku, Azerbaijan , with international travel as required.
