Maintenance Manager & Supervisors for Large Distribution Center

Seeking a strong Maintenance Manager/Leader for a Distribution Center in the Chambersburg PA area.

Essential Functions of the job

• --Ensure all preventive maintenance in a new DC is assigned, done and documented in the CMMS.
• --Assign work orders to mechanics each day
• --Work of any emergency downtime-related issues. Work to keep downtime as low as possible.
• --Ensure facilities are safe. Play a major role to ensure the safety of associates.
• --Assist with any capital improvement projects for the facility-mainly set up of the facility
• --Be hands-on and assist with any breakdowns and PM's as needed
• --Help manage any outside vendors and ensure they meet contractor safety guidelines
• --Be part of the management team for the facility

Desired Skills and Education

• --Prefer a degree in something technical, but appropriate work experience with suffice
• --Need someone with at least 7-10 years in maintenance roles with at least 3-4 in a leadership role
• --Must have experience with usage of a CMMS system and assigning of work orders to mechanics
• --Must have great maintenance skills-prefer individuals from manufacturing or warehousing/DC environments
• --Good hydraulic, pneumatic, some electrical and electronic (ladder-logic) skills
• --Must be a great communicator and willing to do what it takes to get things done
• --Don't want a job hopper-company will only consider those that are not job hoppers
• Jobs are paying between 75-85k supervisors 85-105k Manager DOE with good bonuses and benefits.
