What You’ll Do
Benefits Management
- Administer the corporate’s benefit program, including but not limited to, health/dental/life insurance, long-term and short-term disability, retirement, FSAs and HSAs.
- Educate employees on benefit offerings through in person meetings, one-on-ones and virtual meetings.
- Develop and oversee Wellness program.
- Research and analyze benefit plans, programs and policies and make recommendations on the data analyses.
- Manage employee enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes for the corporation.
- Manage and monitor the Employee Assistance Program.
- Manage the company retirement plan.
Compliance Management
- Manage day-to-day compliance including, but not limited to, OSHA, FMLA, WC, HIPAA, ACA, and Unemployment.
- Manage incident and injury reports and manage applicable Worker’s Compensation and OSHA requirements.
- Review, determine eligibility, and provide approval for leave requests in accordance with compliance regulations.
Schedule
Full time, primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm however the position does require flexibility to meet the needs of the corporation.

QualificationsRequirements
- 3 years of experience in a HR setting focused on employee benefits and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience
- CEBS certification preferred
- Participation in HR and Benefits professional development opportunities encouraged
- Experience in implementing and managing employee benefits and compliance with business goals in the areas of retention, employee development, and employee relations and compliance.
- Ability to collaborate with other departments and all levels of associates.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to effectively manage sensitive situations and confidential data.
- Strong ability to work with mathematical concepts and be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
