INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLER

DescriptionJOB SUMMARY

Assist in the day to day functions of the Assembly Department with various stages of the assembly and subassembly processes in the International Assembly Dept. 1061.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Safety oriented (Safety First).
• Deciphers job orders.
• Read prints, charts, calipers and other various measurement tools.
• Identifies and is accountable for various parts and material.
• Complete basic forms.
• Verifies accuracy of paperwork.
• Prioritize job orders by due date.
• Keep copy of the Production Job Order with parts
• Adjust fixturing.
• Periodically inspect tools and equipment for accuracy and or deficiencies.
• Build main valves, sub-assemblies and solve valve kitting problems.
• Drills, seats, presses, loctites, threads, measures, trims, polishes, washes, preps, paints, performs back pressure tests and sand blasts.
• Sets valves
• Be professional with a positive attitude.
• Be willing and available for cross-training when work load requires

• Posses strong problem solving skills
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Able to be accountable, reliable, punctual, and have good work ethics.
• Ability to be open-minded and learn new things.
• Prior general assembly experience and strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Class 4 & 5 Fork lift experience preferred but not required.
