Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive demand generation and revenue growth for the Advanced Solutions business portfolio.
  • Develop and execute territory and business plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities across enterprise, mid-market, and commercial segments.
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities through direct customer engagement and partner collaboration.

End Customer Engagement

  • Regularly visit enterprise customers to understand business challenges and technology requirements.
  • Position advanced technology solutions aligned to customer business objectives.
  • Conduct customer presentations, solution workshops, and executive-level discussions.
  • Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to develop winning solution proposals.

Channel & Partner Development

  • Engage with System Integrators (SIs), VARs, MSPs, and channel partners to drive business growth.
  • Develop partner business plans and support partners in opportunity identification and closure.
  • Conduct partner enablement sessions and joint customer engagements.
  • Expand the partner ecosystem and strengthen existing relationships.

Vendor & OEM Management

  • Collaborate with OEMs to execute business plans, demand generation initiatives, and growth programs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure achievement of vendor business objectives.
  • Leverage OEM resources, incentives, and programs to maximize market opportunities.
  • Drive joint account planning and business reviews with vendor stakeholders.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business development and sales professionals.
  • Set performance goals and monitor team productivity and business outcomes.
  • Foster a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
  • Support team members in strategic account development and deal closures.

Technical Solution Selling

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of enterprise technology solutions and industry trends.
  • Work effectively with technical consultants and solution architects to position complex solutions.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, competitive offerings, and market developments.
  • Provide strategic guidance to customers and partners regarding technology adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Vendor teams.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, events, roadshows, webinars, and customer workshops.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene.
  • Provide regular business updates, forecasts, and management reports.

Market Expansion

  • Identify emerging market opportunities and strategic growth areas.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new technologies and solutions.
  • Drive account penetration and market share growth across assigned regions.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 12+ years of overall experience in IT Sales, Business Development, Channel Sales, or Enterprise Solutions.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
  • Proven experience in team handling and leadership roles.
  • Strong experience in visiting and managing end-customer relationships.
  • Technically sound with understanding of enterprise technology solutions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and frequently across assigned territories.
  • Experience working within the IT Distribution/VAD ecosystem preferred.
