Concierge Runner

• Welcome to Windham Mountain Club!
• Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.
• Seasonal Position: This part time role is available for the winter season.
• Pay: $20-$22 per hour based on experience
• Anticipated Start Dates: Around Thanksgiving or early December
• Schedule: Will require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Conditions: Must be able to get to a from work in all weather conditions. This is an indoor position and outdoor position.

Overview of Position

The Concierge Runner is responsible for supporting the Club Concierge in providing a warm and welcoming experience for Club members through a wide range of tasks. This role serves as a key facilitator between various departments, with an emphasis on errands in and around resort properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining a neat and comfortable environment in all member areas.
• Ensure member restrooms and locker rooms are kept clean and fully stocked, coordinating with facilities department as needed.
• Assist with washing and folding of laundry (towels, blankets, etc.) from restrooms and locker rooms.
• Greet and welcome all members and guests as needed.
• Maintain full working knowledge of resort programs, events, etc. and how to connect guests with relevant resources. Includes daily knowledge of weather and trail conditions.
• Assist Club Concierge with various errands and tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest service roles preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with members, guests, and team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor with a welcoming and personable attitude.
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Adaptable to change in a dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow and ice covered surfaces.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to perform fine motor skills congruent with operating computers and smart phones.
