Accountant - Indian Nationals

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail oriented Accountant to join our growing team in Baghdad. This is an exciting opportunity for Indianprofessionals who are looking to advance their career and gain valuable international experience.

Requirements

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with Iraqi regulations
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
• Support internal and external audits
• Work closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and consistency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of professional accounting experience (preferably in a corporate or commercial environment)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills in English
• Willingness to relocate to Baghdad and adapt to a new working culture
