WHO YOU ARE

You are a skilled and commercially minded Estimator with a strong background in commercial construction, known for your accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex project documentation.

You’re a proactive and solutions-focused professional who can work both independently and collaboratively, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

You also bring leadership potential, with a desire to mentor others and grow within the business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will lead the preparation of accurate, competitive, and commercially sound cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial construction projects, ensuring projects are well understood, risks are identified, and pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives, while supporting project feasibility and procurement planning. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to develop robust pricing strategies, identify risks and opportunities, and support project feasibility and planning.

Estimating & Tendering

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to define scope
  • Manage the full tender process through to submission
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives
  • Source and negotiate competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Compile high-quality tender submissions, including clarifications and exclusions

Project & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with directors, project managers, and site teams
  • Attend pre- and post-tender meetings with clients and consultants
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

Commercial & Strategic Input

  • Support procurement strategies, budgeting, and cost planning
  • Contribute to value engineering and project feasibility assessments
  • Assist in improving estimating systems, processes, and workflows
  • Work alongside business development on pipeline and strategy
