What You'll Do

  • Maintain active supervision of students, ensuring safety, accurate attendance tracking, and compliance with program, licensing, and district requirements
  • Implement daily Early Childhood Education (ECE) program schedules while maintaining required staff-to-child ratios and supporting effective program operations
  • Plan and lead engaging indoor, outdoor, stationary, and movement-based activities aligned with student and program needs
  • Provide diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene support to promote student health, comfort, and well-being
  • Follow all program, district, licensing, and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Support positive student behavior using district-approved behavior management practices and expectations
  • Complete accident reports, incident documentation, and other required records accurately and promptly
  • Maintain a reliable work schedule, including participation in camps, substitute assignments, and work across program sites as needed
  • Prepare, maintain, and restore program spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
  • Build positive professional relationships with families, staff, school personnel, and community partners while communicating appropriate information, referring concerns to supervisors
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum Associate's Degree
  • Associate Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Family & Child Development, or Child Psychology plus ECE 101 and ECE 103, and 910 hours of verified experience working with children. Bachelor’s Degree in any field plus ECE 101 and ECE 103, and 910 hours of verified experience working with children. 12 semester hours of ECE coursework (including ECE 101 and ECE 103) and 1,295 hours of verified experience working with children. CDHS-approved vocational, occupational, or training program completion (with transcripts) and 1,820 hours of verified experience working with children. ECE 101 and ECE 103, a current Level I credential, and 3,640 hours of verified experience working with children.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate an ability to work with children.
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
