Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Infusion Nurse (RN) to join our team in Webster . You will be responsible for delivering professional nursing care to patients requiring intravenous treatments, including biologics, hydration, and specialty medications.

Responsibilities

  • IV Administration : Establish peripheral IV access and maintain central line devices (PICC lines, implanted ports) according to state laws and center policy.
  • Patient Monitoring : Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and physical condition, before, during, and after treatments.
  • Education : Teach patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and post-infusion care.
  • Clinical Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) regarding patient responses and nursing care rendered.
  • Emergency Response : Recognize and respond promptly to adverse reactions or clinical emergencies, including initiating CPR if necessary.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current RN license in Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • Clinical or hospital experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with patients, physicians, and staff
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Capable of making independent nursing decisions
  • Ability to work under stress and maintain professionalism
