About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems using Honeywell Niagara platforms.
  • Program, configure, and test automation systems based on project specifications and customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose control system issues both remotely and at customer sites.
  • Perform system integration and testing for automation and control solutions.
  • Develop and maintain HMI and SCADA interfaces for system monitoring and usability.
  • Support field commissioning activities and ensure systems operate according to design.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Assist with the development of project proposals, specifications, and system documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers, project managers, and internal engineering teams throughout project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline .
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation, building automation, or control systems engineering.
  • Experience with Honeywell Niagara or similar building automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of control logic, PLC programming, networking, and industrial communication protocols .
  • Experience developing or supporting HMI and SCADA systems .
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel periodically for field commissioning, system start-ups, and customer support .

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting while working on engineering design and programming tasks.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to job sites, manufacturing environments, and customer facilities.
  • Ability to operate computers and technical equipment for extended periods.

Work Environment

  • Combination of office, engineering, and field environments.
  • Occasional work in industrial facilities or customer locations during commissioning and troubleshooting.
