Position: Chinese/Mandarin Speaking Crew Member

Position Overview

As a Chinese/Mandarin speaking crew member, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our Chinese-speaking guests have an enjoyable and comfortable experience on board our ships. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with language barriers, and helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the ship's crew and Chinese-speaking guests
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests, with a focus on our Chinese-speaking guests
• Assist with language barriers by translating announcements, menus, and other materials
• Conduct language classes and cultural activities for guests
• Help to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests
• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude at all times
• Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications

• Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Previous experience in the hospitality or cruise industry is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications
